Prof Steven Gal, Cornell University

Prof. Steven Gal is a career technology entrepreneur, an educator of entrepreneurs, and an investor in and advisor to early-stage companies. He has spent over 15 years in teaching, researching and practising Entrepreneurship and Innovation, at the Johnson Graduate School of Management at Cornell’s SC Johnson College of Business. Over more than 25 years as an entrepreneur, Steven has participated in the founding, funding, building, operating and/or turnaround of seven technology companies, and an active angel and VC investor and advisor to hundreds of entrepreneurs and their companies Prof. Gal currently teaches students across programs, schools and campuses at Cornell, including undergraduates, MBAs and Executive MBAs, and PhD’s, in Ithaca and at Cornell Tech. In addition, he works with universities, companies and executives globally through Cornell Executive Business Education. He also serves as Chair of the Advisory Council on Entrepreneurship at Cornell.
